Lottie, from your agent
We are building an MCP server for Lotiqlab, so the coding agent you already use can make motion. Ask Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any other MCP client to generate an animation from a prompt, recolor or retime a file you already have, and export it to GIF, MP4, PNG or dotLottie — without leaving your editor. It is not out yet. Leave your email and we will tell you the day it is.
- Generate a Lottie from a text prompt, in the editor your agent already lives in.
- Edit files you already have: recolor, retime, rename layers, strip a watermark.
- Export to GIF, MP4, WebM, PNG or dotLottie as a tool call, not a manual round trip.
- Open standard: anything that speaks MCP — Claude, Cursor, VS Code, your own agent — can drive it.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about Lottie files and how Lotiqlab works.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and data. An MCP server exposes a set of actions; any MCP client — Claude, Cursor, VS Code and others — can call them. A Lotiqlab MCP server means your agent can make and edit animations the same way it reads your files.
When is the Lotiqlab MCP server out?
There is no date yet. It is in development. Leave your email on this page and you will hear the day it ships — that list is only used for that one announcement.
Will the MCP server be free?
The plan is yes, on the same terms as the rest of Lotiqlab: free to use, with the heavier AI generation drawing on the same monthly allowance a Lotiqlab account already has. Pro raises that allowance.
Which MCP clients will it work with?
Any of them. MCP is a standard, so the server is not written against one client. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code are what we test with.
Can I use Lotiqlab with AI today, without MCP?
Yes. The AI generator at lotiqlab.com/ai-lottie-generator makes an animation from a text prompt in the browser, and the editor has an AI panel that edits the file you have open. MCP is about reaching those from outside the browser.
