Remove the Jitter watermark from a Lottie

Free-plan exports from Jitter add a watermark to the animation. When you export as Lottie JSON, that mark comes through as an extra layer in the file rather than being burned into pixels — so on a file you own or are licensed to edit, you can drop the .json into Lotiqlab, select the watermark layer on the canvas, delete it, and re-export clean. Everything runs in your browser, so the file is never uploaded.

How it works

  1. In Jitter, export your animation as Lottie JSON rather than MP4 or GIF — a video export bakes the watermark into the pixels and cannot be undone cleanly.
  2. Drop the .json into Lotiqlab below, then click the watermark on the canvas to select its layer, or find it by name in the layer list.
  3. Press Delete or Backspace to remove it. If the mark is split across a group, open Dev Mode to spot every piece by name and remove them together.
  4. Export a clean animation as Lottie JSON, dotLottie, GIF, MP4, or WebM — no watermark, no signup.

By the numbers

1 layer
In a Lottie export the watermark is a separate layer, so removing it leaves the rest of the animation untouched
$0
No Jitter subscription needed to get a clean file out of an animation you already made
0 uploads
The file is edited locally in your browser, so nothing is sent to a server

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove the Jitter watermark for free?

Export from Jitter as Lottie JSON, open it in Lotiqlab, select the watermark layer on the canvas, delete it, and export. No signup or upgrade is needed, and the file is edited locally in your browser.

The watermark is burned into my MP4 — can I still remove it?

Not cleanly. Once a mark is rendered into video pixels, removing it means painting over it frame by frame. Go back to Jitter and re-export as Lottie JSON instead, then delete the layer — that is the only lossless route.

Is it legal to remove the watermark?

Only remove watermarks from animations you created yourself or have a licence to edit, such as your own Jitter projects or assets your team paid for. Do not use this to strip attribution from someone else's work.

Will deleting the layer break the animation?

No. The watermark sits on its own layer with no relationship to your artwork, so the rest of the timeline plays exactly as before. If you delete the wrong layer, Cmd+Z undoes it.

Is my file uploaded to a server?

No. Lotiqlab is 100% client-side, so the Lottie is parsed, edited, and re-exported entirely in your browser.
